CSSSP is proud to present outstanding speakers at our bi-monthly meeting.  These presentations help educate our members and keep them current in their profession.

February 2003
Mr. Byron Jamerson, Jr. discussed about “Terrorist Violence in the Workplace”.  He discussed about actions and planning guidelines to minimize this in our workplace.

April 2003
Ms. Linda Hunter, Certified Trainer with Zee Medical discussed the significance of early defibrillation and sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).  She discussed about the importance of getting training to utilize CPR to help save a life.

June 2003
Mr. Crist R. Wagner discussed about Worker’s Compensation Fraud Investigations.  He discussed about the various aspects of investigating and documentation process.

August 2003
Mr. Hal D. Lindsey, Executive Director of Corporate Health & Safety Services with the Department of Water & Power, City of Los Angeles.  He discussed about achieving safety excellence through joint labor management participation in the public utilities setting.

October 2003
Mr. Herman Jett, Area Manager with CAL/OSHA Consultation Service.  He discussed about how the CAL/OSHA Consultation Service can assist industry from a consultative overview and how they differ from the CAL/OSHA Compliance Unit.

December 2003
Mr. Harlen “Lamb” Lambert of All State K-9 Patrol/Explosives & Drug Detection discussed about the use of trained police dogs in detection and other crime prevention and security.  He brought in some of the trained police dogs to show and tell how they can locate drugs hidden in various containers.
